Terms
- All riding and paddling is done at your own risk
- The age limit for renting with us is 18 years of age
- Those who paddle Mini must be 5-10 years old and know how to swim
- Those who paddle Viggen, Triton or Kanada must be at least 10 years old
- Do not exceed maximum load (Mini: 50kg, Viggen: 130kg, Triton: 260kg, Canada: 425kg)
- Life jackets should be used if possible
- Tingstäde kajak takes no responsibility for accidents, injuries to person or damage to personal belongings or equipment*
- The renter is responsible for all costs in the event of loss of, or possible damage to, the equipment*. This also applies to damage that is detected after the use of the equipment*
- All equipment* must be returned well cleaned and any damage must be reported. Leave the equipment* in the same condition as you want to pick it up, that is, clean and dried out
* Equipment means canoe, kayak, paddle, cart, life jacket, spraydeck and everything else that is included in the rental
Personal information
When booking in our booking system, we collect and process personal information from you in order to complete your booking. We collect your email, contact and address information and store them for as long as required so as to fulfill our agreement with you our customer as well as comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Recommendations
- Dress to get wet
- Protect your valuables by storing them in a waterproof container
- Wear sunscreen, sun hat and mosquito repellent
- Bring plenty of drinking water and something to eat on the trip
- If you get lost on the lake – aim for Tingstäde church
- Always keep an eye on accompanying children
- If you fall out – use the kayak or canoe as a buoyancy aid to swim to shallower water
